Íslendingurinn Ómar Smári Kristinsson teiknaði þetta kort af Íslandi með eigin hendi. Það tók hann um tvö ár á heimili hans á Ísafirði.
Kortið sýnir flesta ferðamannastaði landsins. En einnig landið þar á milli. Það er ekki síður stórkostlegt.

Landslagið, vegakerfið, kirkjurnar, vitarnir og ýmis fleiri mannvirki, dýr, fólk og margt fleira. Ómar Smári teiknaði inn á kortið smámyndir af sérhverjum þéttbýlisstað landsins, stórum og smáum.
Kortið er teiknað í fagmannlegum, skýrum og fögrum myndskreytingastíl.
Eini textinn á kortinu eru örnefni – þannig að þú þarft ekki að kunna íslensku.🙂

The Icelander Ómar Smári Kristinsson drew this map of Iceland by hand for nearly 2 years at his home in Ísafjörður.
The map shows most of the tourist destinations. But also the land in between which is much bigger and is no less stunning!
The landscape, the road system, the churches, the lighthouses and various other structures, animals, people and much more. Every village and town in the country has its own drawing in circle.
Drawings are made in professionally clear and cute illustration style.
The accompanying text is just the names of places and cities – so you do not have to know Icelandic 🙂
